This page explains the rights California residents have over the sale and sharing of personal information, and how to use them with AmberFinders. We apply the same rules to every customer, wherever they live.
Your Rights Under the CCPA and CPRA
The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives California residents the right to tell a business not to sell their personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
What AmberFinders Does
AmberFinders does not sell personal information, and does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not run advertising tags on the site.
Service providers that help us run the shop — payment processing, order management, email delivery, hosting and shipping — receive only what their job needs, under contracts that forbid them from using it for their own purposes. Handing data to them in this way is not a sale.
Making a Request
You can still record an opt-out, or ask what we hold about you. Email support@amberfinders.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share", and include:
- Your full name
- The email address you used for your orders
What Happens Next
We confirm we have received your request and may ask you to verify that the orders are yours. We complete the request within 30 days of receiving it and email you when it is done. If we need longer, we tell you why and by when.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. You get the same prices, service and treatment whether or not you make a request.
